On January 14, new Fibers of the Earth clothing drop bins were placed in the parking lot adjacent to the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts. According to Mark Burns, superintendent of the grounds, “The main purpose is to keep clothing, shoes, any kind of fibers out of the waste stream in order to be recycled.” Burns also said that Marywood is being paid $12 per box per month and the money earned will be used for Marywood activities.
