Q: When did you start playing baseball?
A: I started playing baseball when I was four years old. My dad was a coach so he got me into it as soon as he could.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals before you go on the field?
A: Before a game I really just like to go off by myself and focus on my pre-game throwing. I also like to pray before every game.
Q: What music do you listen to before the game?
A: Any music that is upbeat. It gives me energy before the game.
Q: Who is your favorite MLB player? Why?
A: Chipper Jones is my favorite player, even though he just retired. He played the game the right way for so many years.
Q: Who is your favorite baseball team? Why?
A: The Atlanta Braves. My entire family is a fan of the team.
Q: What MLB pitcher would you not want to see 60 feet in front of you?
A: Justin Verlander for sure. The man throws fire with a disgusting curve ball. I’d have no shot.
Q: What is your most memorable baseball moment?
A: The most memorable moment was winning the tri-county championship in high school. We beat the opposing team and went on to win the state championship in the finals.
Q: How has baseball help you become the person you are today?
A: It has made me the athlete I am today as well as brought some of my best friends into my life.
Q: What is a valuable lesson that you have learned from playing baseball?
A: Baseball has made me more responsible, cooperative, and positive.
Q: What do you plan on doing after Marywood?
A: I plan on getting a health and physical education job at a high school and being a baseball coach.
