Tonight, Marywood University hosted its annual Christmas tree lighting at the Liberal Arts Center. Along with the tree lighting, there were also live reindeer, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and an art market in the Learning Commons. President Lisa Lori J.D. gave the anticipated countdown, with the help of her friends, and the tree was lit. People all gathered around for the festivities despite the cold weather. To keep everyone warm, there was hot chocolate and s’mores that you could make on campus. There were also a few surprise visitors, Maxis and The Grinch.
