The Marywood women’s basketball team had one of its most memorable seasons in years. Although the Pacers encountered a few ups and downs throughout the season, they gave a strong effort every game, showing their determination and teamwork.
One of the biggest highlights for this season came when Olivia Ciullo reached an incredible milestone by scoring her 1,000th career point. Ciullo became the 16th player in Marywood women’s basketball history to reach this achievement. This marked a major moment for her and the program.
Another outstanding performer for the Pacers was Megan Cavoli, who was selected to the First Team of the Atlantic East Conference for women’s basketball. She was chosen for her strong performances and leadership on the court throughout the season.
The team also made history during the conference tournament. The Pacers defeated Marymount University in a thrilling 73-71 victory on Feb. 26, sending them to the Atlantic East Conference final for the first time in 41 years. The third-seeded Pacers then prepared to face the top-seeded Immaculata University Mighty Macs in the championship game on Feb. 28.
The Pacers finished the season with an overall record of 14-13. They performed consistently both at home and on the road, finishing with a 7-6 record in home games and a 7-6 record in away games. In the Atlantic East Conference play, the team finished with a 8-6 record, showing their competitiveness against their conference opponents.
Overall, the team fought through a challenging schedule, and the 2026 season was filled with major accomplishments and historic moments for Marywood women’s basketball. From individual milestones to making the conference championship game, the Pacers proved they were competitive and a determined team. Their success this season will be remembered as one of the program’s most exciting years.
