The Marywood University men’s soccer team made history with their first-ever win over Marymount University, taking a 3–1 victory at home. After falling behind early, Ryan Surowiec tied it with a penalty kick before Donnie Powell and Jared Sanborn added goals in the second half to secure the win. Freshman goalkeeper Ryan Schweigart tallied six saves to keep the Pacers in control despite being outshot 23–10. The win has improved Marywood’s record to
6-7-1 overall and 3-1 in Atlantic East play, their best conference start in program history, with the men’s lacrosse team showing up to cheer from the sidelines, bringing high energy and helping fuel the Pacers.
