Maywood’s Faculty Senate held a meeting in the Comerford Theater in the Center for Natural and Health Sciences on Friday, Oct. 23.

The Faculty Senate is forming a new shared governance committee, according to Faculty Senate President, Dr. Craig Johnson.

The committee will be comprised of eight faculty members and eight Board of Trustees members.

Johnson stated that forming this committee is an “important first step in increasing dialogue between faculty and the Board of Trustees.”

Ann Cerminaro-Costanzi, Ph.D., chair of the foreign language department, stated, “We’re moving forward with good will, but with some disappointment.”
