The elevator in the Liberal Arts Center (LAC) is out of service as of April 10, Ann Boland-Chase, vice president for Enrollment Services and Student Success, said in an email to students.

The email included an announcement from Patricia Dunleavy, Ph.D., associate vice president for Human Resources, and was sent to both Marywood students and faculty.

Classes with students who have known accessibility issues will be relocated. Students will be notified in advance of the new class locations.

Dunleavy encouraged students who are not on the accessibility list but are unable to take the stairs to classes to notify their dean so arrangements can be made.

Employees who have accessibility issues and offices on the second floor of the LAC will have their offices moved. Dunelavy said new office locations will be announced once arrangements are made.

“We will notify you as soon as we have an update on the repair schedule for the elevator,” said Dunleavy in the announcement.
