The website Online Psychology Degrees recently ranked Marywood 11th on its list of “Best Doctor of Psychology PsyD Degree Programs in 2016.”

According to a news article by Marywood University, “Marywood is the only university in Northeast Pennsylvania to merit a ranking on the list.”

Other schools on the list include Rutgers University, Baylor University and Pepperdine University which are ranked 1st, 14th and 17th respectively.

Online Psychology Degrees is a website that allows individuals interested in the field of psychology to research online degree programs in that field.

According to the rankings article, factors that contributed to the ranking included cost of attendance for graduate students, degree and specialization options and college ranking.

The website stated that one of the major sources used for the college ranking category was U.S. News and World report, in which Marywood was named a “Best Value College” and one of the top regional universities in the Northern region.
