At Marywood University there are a lot of activities offered in the new gym’s dance studio. Whether you enjoy slow, soothing yoga or more strenuous muscle toning, the gym offers an opportunity for you.
The best thing about all of these classes is that they are free for Marywood students, while faculty and staff only charged two dollars. The classes are 45 minutes long and give you a good work-out.
Barbara Vail, a frequent attendee, said, “These classes are extremely useful because they make all of us work to our full potential and they are only 45 minutes long, which doesn’t take away a lot of time from my busy schedule.”
The classes that are offered include yogalates, basic combination aerobics, water aerobics, kickboxing, body sculpting, muscle madness, and fitness boot camp. Check out mupacers.com for a full class schedule.
With all of these classes offered for free there has been a big turnout at many of the classes lately. Although this means that instructors are starting to have to turn people away, it is good that the word is getting out across campus and everyone is taking advantage of what is offered here at Marywood.
