ABOUT: I plan on graduating in the spring of 2013. My current role with The Wood Word is Assistant Photo Editor. The thing I like most about being part of the staff is that they are a very close-knit group and we cover a very different range of stories for our newspaper. Our staff is never afraid to tackle a hard story, and that truly makes The Wood Word unique. One of my hobbies is taking dance classes. I truly love it and it’s a great source of exercise. I like to play any type of sport that gives me a challenge. I also usually like to read newspapers, books and magazines. Lastly, I enjoy writing, whether it’s for a class or just for my pleasure. I am very excited to be a part of The Wood Word staff. I hope to gain more experience and knowledge for this upcoming semester!
