One of the three statues located in the amphitheatre was vandalized over the weekend.

The vandalism was reported to Campus Safety at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, according to Campus Safety Chief Mike Pasqualicchio.

The amphitheatre statues were unveiled over the summer during Alumni Weekend. Sr. Cor Immaculatum Heffernan, IHM, an alumna and former art department chair, sculpted the life-sized bronze works.

Pasqualicchio said the investigation into the vandalism is still ongoing.
