Nicole Coombs, a junior speech-language pathology
student, received the 2018 Northeastern Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Pennsylvania (NESHAP) Scholarship.

The $1,000 Speech-Language-Hearing Association Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who is in their junior year of undergraduate studies. To qualify, a student must demonstrate academic excellence in the field of speech-language pathology or audiology.

Only students who attend Bloomsburg University, East Stroudsburg University, Marywood University and Misericordia University are eligible to receive the scholarship.

Coombs is the 22nd student to be awarded the scholarship at the association’s annual conference.
