On Sept. 1, the Marywood men’s basketball team will hold a meet and greet event at the Sanderson Street Tavern in Throop.

Enrico Mastroianni, head coach of the men’s basketball team, invited students and fans to meet the staff, alumni and other supporters of the program, according to Marywood’s basketball newsletter.

Mastroianni said in the newsletter the cost of tickets are $10, which includes a buffet with the opportunity to “mix and mingle” with the coaching staff.

In addition, representatives from the team are still looking for sponsors to help support the event.

The event will be held this Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or on Alumni events.

All proceeds from the event go directly to the men’s basketball program.
