Marywood athletics and recreation director to retire in June

After 29 years in Marywood Athletics, Director of Athletics and Recreation Dr. Mary Jo Gunning is retiring.
Gunning publicly announced her retirement today, which is effective on June 1, 2019, according to an article from the Marywood Athletics website.
“Serving Marywood as a proud alumnae in the role of director of athletics and recreation has been a great privilege and a life mission,” Gunning said in the article.
The university plans to conduct a national search in the spring for a new director of athletics and recreation.
