Men’s Basketball
The Pacers are on a three-game winning streak moving in the right direction to start the season. Marywood hosted Hartwick, defeating them 91-72 on Wednesday, making them 3-1. Michel Loftin had 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Sophomore Joe Macciocco added 17 points. Shilo Bivins contributed 15 points, and Andrew Quinn had 14 points. Another dominant player for the Pacers was Ty Cheney, who had eight points and seven rebounds for Marywood. The Pacers had a great shooting night, shooting 47.3% from the field, to Hartwick’s 35.9%, while out-rebounding the Hawks 40-38.
Marywood dominated Rosemont College on Saturday, cruising to an 83–53 victory and securing a 30-point win. The Pacers came out hot, scoring double digits just in the first six minutes of the game. Loftin had his share of 14 points and Bivins added 13 points and nine rebounds, just shy of a double-double. Collin Himmelberg had 10 points and shot efficiently from the field. Off the bench Noah Perry contributed 12 points. The Pacers will travel to Washington D.C. to face Division I American University on Monday.
Women’s Basketball
Marywood traveled to Bryn Mawr University and took home the 66-53 victory. Anyah Ortiz had 16 points and shot 67% from the field. Megan Cavoli came off the bench finishing strong with 14 points. Olivia Ciullo contributed 13 points. In the first quarter, the Pacers put up 20 points. In the second quarter Bryn Mawr made their way back only trailing by six points by halftime. The Pacers were able to close out the game, shooting 44.3% from the field. Marywood will host John Jay College on Saturday.
Field Hockey
Marywood’s Dariane Jones was chosen to the National FIled Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior Team on Thursday. Jones is only the third Pacer to be selected. She also was selected as the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year and the Atlantic East Tournament Most Valuable Player. For the second time back to back she earned First Team All-Atlantic East laurel and was selected to the NFHCA Second Team All-Region IV in 2024. She ended her career with 46 goals and tied the Marywood record with 28 assists.
Volleyball
Three Pacers received awards on Tuesday. The Atlantic East Specialty Player of the Year was given to Ayla Bransford, Taylor Hallam and Catie Woolf. Just as a freshman Bransford led the Atlantic East with 901 assists. She finished in eighth in the AEC with 55 aces. She also had 211 digs and 33 blocks. She ranked 59th in assists nationally. Brandsford was selected as Atlantic East Specialty Player of the Week four times. Hallam led the AEC in hitting percentages with .312 percent and 89 blocks. She is ranked 100th in hitting percentage, 104th in points and 105th in blocks nationally. Woolf is ranked second in the Atlantic East with 473 on the season. She was 16th in the conference. Carolina Samaniego received Atlantic East Second Team. Head Coach Maegen Eddinger and Assistant Coaches Ashleen Speen and Mikayla Bayly were selected for the AEC Coaching Staff of the Year.
Womens Swimming
On Monday, the Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Swimming and Diving Weekly Award Winner Kyla Harbodin. She finished in third place in the 300-meter and fourth place in the 100-meter at the Electric City Diving Invitational. Marywood finished second out of three teams.
